Since Trump is a climate change denier, wouldn’t it be poetic justice if Hurricane Ian — wiped Mar-a-Largo off the face of the earth?

Nothing like watching a #Republican in a ‘leadership’ role talk about impact of Ian when his party has spent decades obstructing on #ClimateAction #VoteOutEveryRepublican #GOPLiesAboutEverything

Hurricane Ian took all the water out of Tampa Bay because climate change is a hoax and these storms are absolutely not getting stronger, more frequent, and more devastating each year.

Mass shooting. GOP: thoughts and prayers, now is not the time to talk about gun reform.

Border crisis. GOP: now is not the time to talk about immigration reform.

Florida Republicans who admit to climate change grew from 44% to 88% in 2 years but they still do all they can to block action. House Reps Bilirakis, Buchanan, Cammack, Donalds, Dunn, Posey & Waltz took $800,000 & Gov. DeSantis took $1B from fossil fuel to fight real change

Massive storm surges, high winds, and record-breaking flash floods from Hurricane Ian have left 2.5 million Floridians without power, preventing local conspiracy theorists from posting on social media about how climate change is a hoax.

Ocean warming is a result of human-caused climate change.
It causes tropical storms to “speed up” into hurricane super storms.
Hence, Tropical Storm Ian in a DAY looks to be a CAT5.
The damage will be billions.
We can no longer afford NOT to transition to a clean energy grid.

At this point I am rooting for the giant asteroid. We are too stupid as a species to survive

Questions for the Twitter Geniuses
Explain the 1935 Labor Day Hurricane in the context of climate change? A hurricane is weather.
Find a time in Earth's past when there wasn't climate change? The earth has been warming since the end of the Wisconsin Glaciation.
Explain to me how the climate is warming only when Americans burn fossil fuels but not the Chinese?
Explain to me how American oil and gas production is so much worse than Venezuelan, Russian or Saudi oil production?

Eating bugs in a mud hut will solve all problems. Bill Gates can come by and photograph this lifestyle for National Geographic.

I think my IQ dropped a few points just from reading that moronic drivel.
The brainwashing is definitely working on them.

Apparently having too clean of air actually causes storms to become stronger
quote:
CLIMATEWIRE | Hurricane activity is shifting worldwide in large part because of climate change. Cyclones are getting stronger, intensifying faster, dumping more rain and migrating into different regions of the oceans.
But global warming isn’t the only human activity at play. Air pollution also has a significant influence on hurricane formation, according to a new study.
Over the past four decades, air pollution has declined in Europe and the United States with the adoption of stronger air quality regulations. And it’s had an unexpected side effect. Decreasing pollution has caused an increase in tropical cyclone frequency across the North Atlantic.
At the same time, pollution levels have risen across much of South and East Asia. And that’s had an unexpected influence as well. Tropical cyclone activity has declined across the western North Pacific.

Becoming more primitive will increase your chances of surviving a hurricane. Sure

Big group of fricking idiots.

It's like they were waiting for a hurricane to finally hit this a year

You may live in peace knowing you sold every earthly possession and sacrificed everything and yet it would never make a bit of difference. At least the crickets were crunchy . What a life

apparently average IQ is changing FAR MORE RAPIDLY than climate

On NPR this morning: "we can say conclusively that global warming is causing rapid intensification of hurricanes"

LOL. This simpletons are the epitome of the useful idiots description. We have always had strong hurricanes as witnessed by the hurricane drilling Louisiana in 1812. It was trying enough to change the Mississippi river's current which cat 4 and above do.
I always notice that bad weather is never natural to these people. Amazing how bad weather is always a sign of climate change as if we have never had bad weather in the first place.

I wonder how they explain that there has only been one major storm hit the US this year, in a year where all of the CLIMATE SCIENTISTS (!!) predicted a record breaking catastrophic hurricane season.
I'd bet a paycheck that they are claiming that climate change is also the cause of the unusually slow storm season.

Nothing more hubris or delusional than a leftist thinking 20-30 years of governmental policy would’ve prevented weather from happening

That is Kamala's Policy stand too

How can they come to that conclusion and not
