The “hacked” portion is the claim that the Russians placed disinformation on the laptop, IMHO.
The problem with this line of argument by them is that they have been trying to pretend that the laptop wasn’t Hunter’s to begin with then started going “OK, it’s his, but everything on there is a deep fake.”
