re: Twitter and FB stock slump continues
Haven't stepped foot in one of their stores, or spent 1 dime on their websites.

The company doesn't exist as far as I care.

You can request a download file of all of your data.

I’m pulling all my pics and videos off there and I’m Audi 5000.

Padme

You can save all your data from Facebook when you close your account. I did it. I have all my posts, my pics, and videos.

Been off for two and 1/2 months and it’s so freeing

Twitter should go to zero. Everyone should jump off of that ship.

Facebook has no reason to recover. Twitter absolutely will tho.
I would’ve though the opposite. Facebook is harder for a lot of people to deactivate from because so many people use it for keeping up with friends and family who have FB as their only social media, business pages, interest groups, messenger, etc. Twitter was easy to deactivate and not miss in the least. I deactivated my Twitter account a few years ago and never been inclined to go back

re: Twitter and FB stock slump continues
There’s a lot of discussion out there about Twitter being hugely overpriced as it is.

I appreciate that you'd want a picture of your favorite candidate in your signature, but I don't think you could have found a picture where he looked more like a corpse.

ETA: Stupid phone.

That's not a valid reason to keep it. You can download your entire account before you delete it.

You can download those files to your computer and then deactivate your account.

Gone. 8 years of tweets swished away. Don't need it.

Facebook is tough because I belong to groups, like a Mustang club and an AC Cobra club and we use this forum for events.

They alienate half of America and expect the stock to go up?

How dumb is that.

'm sure the conservative bloc will upend Twitter's stock much like it did for Dick's Sporting Goods, after that company curbed gun sales

What abject stupidity. The company lost over a quarter of a billion dollars from that. Shareholders probably lost millions. Dicks stock was at a 10 year low trading at $16 (LOL) when covid lockdowns pushed greater demand for outdoor activities and launched the stock back up. So your point is shite.

This was a huge news story. A good number of people here have made a point of no longer shopping there because Dick's changed their gun policies.

You made your point and we get it, you like Dicks.

So it is just now getting back to where it was in 2016. It went from 60 in 2016 to 16 march 2020 and now back up.

The coup must be completed. Chicago wants businesses to open immediately. And now those same people is defending their pals in the media.
