Twitter and FB stock slump continues
Despite efforts by analysts to talk them up today, specifically Twatter, reporting that shares seemed poised for a rebound!....Nope. Gutter.

This warms my heart but it will be short term losses. They will figure out ways to get it back; long term. If only 230 protection would go away.

I'm sure the conservative bloc will upend Twitter's stock much like it did for Dick's Sporting Goods, after that company curbed gun sales.

Idk, I’ve been browsing fb less and less before this, now I’m barely on, I would delete except for years of family photos. Twitter is a real head scratcher, Trump was their marquee star, now the take a complete dump on their customers? Doesn’t seem like a great business model.

Facebook has no reason to recover. Twitter absolutely will tho. They arent facing the same anti-trust issues because they don't own a lot of other shite.

And dont you think "slump continues" is a little dramatic. It has been a couple days lol

He wasn't their biggest star - there were other people with more followers.

His value to them was free advertising. Every time the TDS crowd got bent out if shape about one of his tweets, it resulted in a ton of TV, radio, and online mentions.

I don't even remember them ever having guns, but you are basically showing they had a big increase from when they were down.

A lot of people will see increases in brick and morter going from stay at home orders to more relaxed covid measures.

It also shows their online sales were higher in the 3rd quarter of 2020 than same time in 2019. I wonder why?

Come on man!

FB allows you to download them as a zip file.

Dick's pulls guns from another 440 stores

This was a huge news story. A good number of people here have made a point of no longer shopping there because Dick's changed their gun policies.

Dick's Sporting Goods's quarterly shares outstanding increased from Jul. 2020 (84 Mil) to Oct. 2020 (97 Mil). It means Dick's Sporting Goods issued new shares from Jul. 2020 to Oct. 2020 .

They also issued more shares after buying shares back in 2019.

Remember when the "thread" said Zuckerberg would go to jail for insider selling

LOL. 3 years later and he funded campaigns to the tune of $400 million

When I dumped FB a few years back, there was an option to save all one's posts and photographs. Can't say it's still there, but it might be worth a look if you want to delete your account.

TWTR closed today at 47
FB closed today at 252

I will bet anyone here that both will be +10% in 2 weeks.
this is what smart people call a buying opportunity

Yep they won’t face any real consequences (from government at least) until 2025 at the earliest. Biden will be all too happy to use them as his digital police force.
