Try this theory about the Democratic field

Big Democrat donors right now are not impressed with the field. They know that Biden will start to get chewed up as time goes by. Bernie has some underlying health issues The African Americans don't really like Kamala because of her lineage....she actually lived in Quebec during her pre teen through college. Booker is disliked because he's too "fancyass" as well as which side he bats on. Same issue as it applies to Buttigieg. That leaves Warren, but they know she's a female version of Dukakis without the bushy eyebrows.
That leaves Beto .For some reason they like Beto but they like Castro more because he CAN deliver the Hispanic vote.But he's not enough but they need a progressive white guy to carry things forward.A good looking guy who likes fighting but is seen as clean.
I think the Democrats are going to try and convince Gavin Newsom to throw his hat in around Thanksgiving . The donors throw obscene money at him.

That leaves Beto .For some reason they like Beto but they like Castro more because he CAN deliver the Hispanic vote.But he's not enough but they need a progressive white guy to carry things forward.A good looking guy who likes fighting but is seen as clean.

He has zero recognition outside of California. He is a guy you bring in to speak at the convention. This introduces him to America, and gives him momentum for 2024 when you have a chance to take the presidency.

I still have a funny feeling that Buttigieg is going to be there in the end if Biden goes off the rails. He was the guy the establishment and they won't give up.

1992 was a dumpster fire for the Democrats, too. Bush 41 was so popular, that many Democrats in the race dropped out for various reasons, and I think some didn't want to face the Bush juggernaut, which had 90% approval ratings the year before the election.
Clinton and Gore were able to convince enough voters that the economy was in terrible shape - much like they are doing now, and they were successful.
Two differences: one, nothing the Dems have tried so far has worked and right now, nobody believes anything they say. Two, none of the current candidates have the charisma of Bill Clinton. Clinton was an unknown going into the election, but once he got the nomination, he was in front of the camera, constantly. I see Tulsi Gabbard as the only one who might be able to shine in front of the cameras like that.

Im convinced this massive crock pot of losers has been assembled basically to get the National Dem Party's finances in order. IE no massive get out the vote (IE vote harvesting) operation, no massive ad buys. Just do enough to phone it in and make enough money to where the national party is not bankrupt at the end of the cycle.

Idk what the rant says but whoever gets to the general is going to get landslided. It's not so much about Trump on offensive it's about the weakness in his potential opponent. This time last election there was Hillary, Bernie and Jim Webb. There are 17 more candidates this time and it may be weaker than what they put out last time.

Gavin Newsome will be the front runner for the Dems in 2024 if Trump wins the Presidency. If a Dem wins he will serve out 8 years as California Governor and wait for 2028. No way he would screw up his future by jumping into this mess of a field.

Pete is an auto loser. Dems can't win with out a big black turnout and a big black support for their candidate. Buttigieg will get neither. They are not all that fired up about Warren either but she has proven she will say or do anything. So it's Biden or bust or maybe an outside chance with Warren. Wouldn't be surprised if someone else comes in though. If so they need to get a move on.

The big time donors will get behind Biden and Harris. The DNC can't stand the idea of a Bernie or Tulsi winning. There's major infighting going on right now in the Democratic party, it's anti establishment vs establishment
