3 appointments in 4 years and it looks like Gorsuch is the only decent pick, and even NG can be squishy at times. Kav-bro sucks and appears to be another Roberts hack, I am not sure what ACB's deal is, perhaps she is just scared of her family being harassed and weak. I am sad that the Thomas's, Alitos, and Scalias in the courts appear to be a dying breed.

I love Trump's energy and passion for America 1st, but to be completely honest, he was terrible at picking people.

He relied too much on supposed conservative advisers who only betrayed him for the uniparty.

As bad as they may be, still better than anyone Joe is going to appoint.

Trump is the one who nominates. Turtle confirms. This is the problem with Trump not having a clue about Washington. I know we all wanted an outsider, but when it came to things like this he was completely reliant on untrustworthy people to pick for him. He would have been better going outside the courts and getting someone like Cruz to his appointments.

This. He should have surrounded himself with the type of people who helped him be successful in private business.

He surrounded himself with politicians.

I've long said Trump's achilles heel is his inability to pick good people.

I'm not giving up hope on Kavanaugh, and especially ACB, just yet.

Not only are they better than any alternative pick by a Dem, but they haven't had much of a chance to prove themselves as far as conservative values on the court just yet.

Kavanaugh is actually pretty left leaning. He kind of always has been.

However, im shocked that Barrette has been this bad.

Jared and his daughter were much worse for him than the politicians. Up until the very end they were who he trusted the most, and you see what it got him. A lot of the stuff Trump supporters blame on the swamp or whatever was actually because Trump has this complete inability to listen to anyone but Jared and Ivanka on anything meaningful.

Practically speaking, a nominee will already be a federal judge. There may not have been better federal judges for Trump to appoint.

It would be better if the problem was just that Trump made shitty nominations.

When you are president, I can't think of a more essential part of your job than to pick the right people.

People don't like hearing it, but Trump overall was ineffective at being President in alot of ways that mattered. I know it was fun watching the left squeal and sky scream, but all his major accomplishments were erased within a few days by EOs. His other major accomplishment were the courts and especially the SCOTUS, and they all look like duds now.

And now here we are facing real fascism and marxism with the Dems in complete control, and the globalists getting ready to call checkmate.

I will be happy if Trump stays on the sidelines 2024 and cheers on and supports someone with his mindset, but way more effective like DeSantis.

That, and so much bad precedent already on the books, it constrains true constitutionalists.

So you think that “his” picks were accidents? There was a level of deep state consistency in “his” picks...so when little got accomplished, it could be blamed on his picks’ treason, not on the picker.
His list of pardons also says a lot.
We have to stop looking to a billionaire with umpteen ties to Wall St. for our salvation from the bolshevik destroyers now in power.

I have no idea, one can only speculate. Are you implying that Trump intentionally made bad picks that would end up sabatoging him and his search for truth on the election?

Here is my thoughts on President Trump overall. I think Trump is incredible at identifying problems and going after them. I think there were some key things that Trump knew very well (China, endless wars, Trade, and immigration)

But when it came to everything else, he was ineffective because quite truthfully and understandably he didn't know what he was doing, and then relied on the crappy people he surrounded himself with.

I think that others made his picks for him.AIPAC, Kushner, other RINOs.
His role was and is to keep conservatives inside the phony electoral system. Why else would he now be spreading false hope about elections in 2 and 4 years? Think of him as a pressure cooker release valve when the machinations of the AIPAC bolsheviks threaten a mass eruption. Mass civil disobedience to unconstitutional laws and dictatorial orders is the ONLY thing that will prevent our total enslavement to the banker class.
