I guess Trump doesn't want to be known for helping speed up the extinction of the African elephant. I never understood why he thought Zimbabwe could even do this in any productive way as they are going through a military coup right now.

quote:

President Donald Trump has announced that his administration's plan to reverse a ban on big game trophies has been put on hold so he can "review all conservation facts."

On Wednesday, a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service official confirmed to ABC News that the Trump administration had planned to allow hunters to bring trophies of elephants they killed in Zimbabwe and Zambia back to the United States.

However, Trump wrote on Twitter Friday evening that the decision had been placed on hold.

This is where we're now at with trying to take swipes at Trump? Trump is obviously living rent free in many heads if so.

Then he really ought to rethink this hold. Private hunting is beneficial for both the local populace and the species itself. It creates an actual profit incentive to proliferate the species and engage in mindful preservation, instead of a public piece of land where no such thing exists.

It's a shame really. The elephant heads were to used at the gay camps to help project masculinity. You'll have to let us know how they decorate now.

like i said in the other thread on this topic

the animals that are killed are chosen specifically for culling reasons. they're going to die, the only question is if a park ranger or rich Westerner does it

#1 - Toddy is a retard.

#2 - This whole deal is based on a study from the Obama admin.

This is exactly right. If it wasn’t for paid wildlife hunting, the idiot locals would destroy the herds.

Probably best the elephant heads aren't at the camps. It would just encourage all the inmates to elephant walk everywhere.

Is there a single conservative issue that liberals actually understand clearly?

I'm drawing a blank.

In this day and age, I'm shocked at how little you progressives know or care about conservation and how hunting also helps the villages

I just don't care either way.
I get both sides of the argument.
