Why in the world would anyone predict anything but a Moore win? Moore will win by 12 or more.

Because Moore has underperformed in the past on state-wide ballots.

Because Democrats knew they couldn’t win a fair race and threw all kind of unprovable allegations at him at the last minute. He still should win easily hopefully

The only way Moore loses is with a record low white turnout and a record high black turnout, and even then...

Because he sucks and won by 4% in his last statewide. I still think he wins. That shouldn't give you any comfort after my 2016 record.

I was pretty on point before that, though.

Its hard to understand if youre not from the state. Moore has been a polarizing figure for over a decade and is hated by a lot of non-evangelical republicans.

Literally any other GOP candidate in the primary would be winning by double digits right now.

Nobody to blame here except Roy Moore.

You could blame the Republican GOP for being against Brooks and also Strange for making the dumbest decision he has ever made at the worst time.

eta: I think most out of state people will be surprised to see how close it is. I cant think of many metro area Republicans (BHM, HSV, MOB, MGM) that are voting for him. I wouldnt be surprised at all to see Jones win.

Or the idiots who nominated him because "hum dum no goddamn Northeast and media liberal elites are going to tell us not to put up a loli-fricking heretic for the US Senate."

Stets rats!

I agree but I don't think either one of those scenarios will play out.
