What crime? Mueller said there wasn't enough evidence to conclude Trump committed a crime. You are straight up lying...again

The report identifies and analyzes 10 episodes of concern in the obstruction investigation:

conduct involving then-FBI Director Comey and Michael Flynn;
the president’s reaction to the continuing Russia investigation;
the president’s termination of Comey;
the appointment of a special counsel and efforts to remove him;
efforts to curtail the special counsel’s investigation;
efforts to prevent public disclosure of evidence;
further efforts to have the attorney general take control of the investigation;
efforts to have White House Counsel Don McGahn deny that the president had ordered him to have the special counsel removed;
conduct toward Flynn, Manafort, and a redacted individual (likely Roger Stone); and
conduct involving Michael Cohen.

the special counsel’s office suggests that all of the elements of obstruction are satisfied on six of these items.

They don't have the Dem votes to impeach. All the Dems who ran as "Friends of Donald" would be swept out of office in 2020. They all know this. They will just hold investigation after investigation

They will create an illusion for MSM to feed to the masses. Just like the Mueller investigation. Pure propagandist theater.

Has this happened, in your opinion?

All the house needs to initiate the process is to bring the formal charges...The USSC can't stop that.

On what "charge" would they make their strongest case?

If I had to guess, probably obstruction. And yes, I think obstruction has occurred.

As if the Dems can’t look any more stupid, I hope they try to impeach. It will gift wrap the 2020 election to Trump. Will take back the house and extend the Senate for Republicans. The Dems can’t stop making themselves look like idiots.

Fair enough.

What is the nature of this obstruction that you think occured? What dots did you connect that led you to that conclusion?
Just curious.

If what? Romney, murchowski and Collins and 15 other gop senators vote guilty?

15 Republicans who would be defeated in their next elections. So that's never going to happen. Collins might...might...get away with an impeachment vote, but Romney and Murkowski would be dead ducks.

The Democrats don't want an impeachment trial in the Republican held Senate. It could get very ugly, very quickly. I can just see Lindsey Graham, Mike Lee, or Ted Cruz questioning Democrat witnesses. Ugly, very ugly.

The dhimmi's aren't going to actually go through with it, they're just using it for fundraising fodder.

They've already been told by numerous legitimate sources that if they do there will be literal hunting season for them.

I don’t think it was a single act or anything. I think it’s a combination. Comey, the McGhan testimony about Mueller, what he’s doing now ordering people to ignore subpoenas.

I don't think that's how it works.

FYI, Mr Trump, Supremes already ruled that only Congress runs the impeachment process, per Constitution. There is no appeal.

They do and it is a political process. In another thread there is a discussion about WWIII war gaming. God help us in this environment if any country ever challenges us. We hate each other more than our true enemies.

Dale this is probably correct, generally speaking. POTUS can assert executive privilege in such a situation. But that negates the argument of obstruction. It's simply Trump exercisig his lawful rights and authority.

What I read is he didn’t assert a privilege when ordering this.
