There really aren't as many folks who care about this issue as you think and that is coming from someone who thinks they should all be legal and borderline free to get rid of the black market element.

disagree fully

it goes beyond just weed. it's about decriminalizing society and "over-policing black and brown communities"

I would love to hear Pelosi's rebuttal to this proposal.

And it'll carry the areas he didn't in 2016.

It'll be a bloodbath for whoever the dems run against him

Democrats might as well sit out 2020 to avoid embarrassing themselves.

You're partly right. There really aren't many folks who would be irate if it's legalized, but there are a lot of people who will be thrilled.

Color shouldn’t be brought into the conversation.
I think all drugs should be legal.
And it should be up to the states as well as 90% of everything else.

OK, now you are getting ahead of yourself.

I doubt Vermont or Rhode Island flips for him.

DC either, but it isn’t a state no matter how much they pretend it is.

It might be enough to flip CO and VA ME and MN if he couples this with prison reform

The man has no limits in his efforts to run Beauregard off without actually firing him.

Also....
People will continue to buy weed on the black market because states like California and New York will tax it to death just as they do everything else.
Best case scenario is those states legalize it and the black market thrives and those states get very little tax revenue from it

Unless he does it by EO, no. We still have to rely on our congressmen and senators to get it there.
