So a situation created by government will be solved by government?

Tell me when. that has ever happened?

you don't already have cause to vote for Trump, this ain't the straw that will break the camel's back.

I don’t like either candidate. As of now I plan on voting 3rd party.

If one candidate has something, like this, that I like I will support them with a vote. At least that way something I support will get accomplished.

If Trump has a plan that I like and meshes with my beliefs then at least voting him in office would accomplish that aspect.

Foreshadowing things to come. Trump is not a Conservative, he's a pragmatist. 2nd term could be much more Theodore Rooseveltian in nature. Mega Corporations beware.

Perhaps when he says he's in this to protect and help ALL American people, he means it. The fact that he jas foregone the quest to compile another one or two billion dollars in favor of seeking the stress filled and thankless job of President might be evidence of genuineness there.

And yes, corporations included too, as people. But maybe the scale has just tipped too far in one direction. Not that full balance is required, just not too imbalanced. Don't see how that's unreasonable.

Monetary policy and corporate welfare.

Everyone should agree with this.

Unless you're a billionaire I don't think this is directed at you. I would guess both you and me are probably in the non-billionaire category.

TD, that's what I'm talking about with nothing ever being able to satisfy his critics. Just him making that remark is pretty notable. When was the last time a Republican President made a comment anywhere near that? Or any high level Republican? It's not very easy to thread that political needle, yet he's willing to provoke a discussion at unknown cost.

I view this through the lens that he's a dude who tweets populist rhetoric but governs by serving the Republican donor class.

In the 2016 campaign he promised to protect medicare and social security then he subsequently put them on the chopping blocks. He gave big beefy tax cuts to corporations and gazillionaires and peanuts to everybody else. Until he says what (and how) changes must be made, that's just a bullshitting pol in election season.

Here’s a thought on reducing income disparity:

STOP IMPORTING MILLIONS OF THIRD WORLD PEASANTS

I took this to mean that the billionaires are able to take advantage of the economic downturn, whereas the common man cannot. If the economy is smoking, everyone will be doing well...

Oh, so you rationalized it like liberals have been doing forever. Got it.

Knowing Trump, he is probably talking about "income disparity" because of the big tech monopolies(Facebook, Google, Twitter, Amazon)...which he no doubt wants to take down. But I could be wrong.

Billionaires who are complicit with this mess are profiteering.

The average hard working American is suffering.

Most highly successful Americans worked hard to get there.

We should not envy self made millionaires.

The globalist billionaires are the real pond scum.

Monetary policy is such a huge deal. It seems like the cat should be out of the bag by now, but at the same time policy appears as radical as ever, currently.
