Chicago Tribune article

quote:

During his first day in South Korea, Trump at least temporarily lowered the temperature on his previously incendiary language about the North. There were no threats of unleashing "fire and fury" on North Korea, as Trump previously warned, nor did the president revive his derisive nickname for North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, "Little Rocket Man."

Is this a new direction for Trump or will he ramp things back up when he gets back to the States?

Art of the Deal. Always start out from a position of strength and move from there.

The microscope you people have on the most benign aspects of everything must be yuge.

"He called him a maniac instead of rocket man! Is this a new Trump???"

Good. We don't need another war and Asia needs to start taking care of their own problems themselves.

Just love how a book from a person on the verge of financial ruin is used as some sort of instruction manual.

He is a coward, doesnt care if he plays with the lives of others but now he is in proximity to an actual NK attack and now that he is aware NK is watching closely what he does and says, like a typical bully, is walking back his tough rhetoric.

His 3 predecessors were the real cowards.
