Mike Lee suggested the pick and it would be an awesome pick. Total troll job and the melt would be fantastic

I actually think Garland would do an excellent job, and it would be hilarious when after 3 months he said "no evidence of collusion" to watch the epic meltdown by the progressive morons.

It would actually be a pretty smart pick. Garland spent a lot of time at the DOJ and took on a lot of corruption cases. And it would be smart politically, because after all the talk of him not getting put on the SCOTUS, Democrats would have to support him.

No it wouldn't. It'd be stupid as hell to put the rival party in charge of an agency that can end your presidency with endless investigations and scandal and be used as the oppositon party's tool of disruption. It isn't like democrats are too good for that. They weaponized the EPA and IRS among others already.

Merrick would be a wonderful pick. If Trump puts a far right "yes" man in, the left is going to escalate their offensive against Trump.
Merrick appears to be a decent human being with a relatively level head and desire for justice.
And yes, the trolling, the melt, and the slumped posture of leftists everywhere as they confirm him would be priceless to observe.

There's no "there" there. Trump has been in the public eye for 30+ years and the Dems threw everything they had at him (plus some bullshite fake rape accusations timed to hit with their most possible devastating force) and nothing stuck. Trump is bulletproof.

I'm fine with whoever he picks not being a "Trump puppet" as long as the new FBI director treats all citizens equally, respects and upholds all laws, and keeps a low profile.
