First question from the dishonest hack media to VP Pence.
Pence: I want to remind you that 42 states have already published their plans to reopen schools this fall.

Pence is taking the media to task. He just talks to them like a father talking to a petulant child.
I love him!
I love him!

None of the biz of the FedGov, one way or the other.

More children will die earlier in life if they aren't educated than if they contract the virus.
So, yeah.
So, yeah.

Dept of Education spending billions of tax payer monies only to have half assed online classes?
This effects the minority in urban cities way more than private schools.

Germany is back to school and is finishing off the year and we are similar in terms of deaths and hospitalizations. My wife teaches in Munich and it is pretty much back to normal. The only case so far has been my wife and she was asymptomatic. These people are full of shite.

I am shocked the left would make this claim.

So, you’re saying the Federal Government shouldn’t be involved in decisions regarding schools?
Glad you support ending the Department of Education.

Yeah, it's not like schools receive federal funds. How dare our President or Vice President have an opinion about education, no one ever asks their stance on education during elections

Has Trump killed a bunch of black children? No, that would be the peaceful black protesters.

Yep. The online learning for my second grader was a joke at the end of last school year. They could easily pull online learning off with 2-3 teachers per grade instead of the 6-7 they have Boom furlough half the teachers and cut the labor cost in half until kids are back in school.

Start prorating teachers pay to account for a delayed start and see how safe they suddenly feel.

Yet somehow they mandated .08 dui laws....
I don't disagree it isn't FedGov's place, but they mandate things nationwide that are in fact state issues if they feel like it.
And in this situation I agree with Trump using Fed dollars to coerce the states to do what is necessary. The states don't have to follow if they don't want. They just lose their ability to suck at the fed tit.

Missing a year of learning in person is more dangerous than caronavirus for school aged students.
