Can't unveil it too early. #MuhWeed has destroyed their brain cells, and their attention span is fricked.

I would be in favor of him coming out in support of marijuana. I don’t want him to take federal action I’d prefer states to outline their own laws.

I think he should.

I 100% do not care for it to be legal.

But I also 100% believe it should strictly be a states rights issue.

Trump’s entire 2020 platform right now is socialism man bad. I wouldn’t hold your breath on him campaigning on this.

So my question in this thread: Do you think Trump plans to use this issue in the run-up to the 2020 election to get the youth vote? Will he be successful?

He won't do it prior to the election although I think it would be a winner issue to convert Democrats, millennials, et. al.

The one good thing the House Dems have done is sponsor legalization...it's the shithead RINO's in the Senate that are the problem. Trump would sign it if it reached his desk.

not a winning issue, and could hurt more than help UNLESS he says its strictly a states right issue only.

While hemp is IN the Constitution in the sense that it's likely woven into the parchment that the words are printed on, it's not in the Constitution, so it's a states' issue.

Trump doesn't need this for his win. Save it for a 2024 candidate to have in their wheelhouse.

It's a damn shame that people can go to jail/prison for being in possession of cannabis.

That requires federal action.

Pretty covert pothead these days but I’m all for this on a bumper sticker. Wouldn’t put it on my car but need it printed out, maybe for the garage fridge.

He should work with the FDA and remove it from the controlled substance list and then let the states decided. Theres no reason it should be a schedule I drug.

Thumbs up for everyone saying it should be a states right issue - like so many other things.

Why doesn’t trump just reschedule it on the DEA’s list?? Seems easier and cleaner than passing legislation with a bunch of strings attached with the Demoncrats

Marijuana should have as much legislation attached to it as tomatoes do
