Trump left Pelosi hanging on purpose

I said this to my wife last night and Bongino confirmed my theory on his show today. Pelosi is a rumored hothead around DC and is extremely concerned with appearances. I believe Trump agreed to shake her hand as a sign of civility prior to the SOTU. He then made the executive decision to not follow through with his end of the bargain knowing how she would react. She was stuck in the frame behind him for the entirety of the address visibly angry. Incredible optics for POTUS.

Hearing that she started the insult with the introduction well before he got in choking range of her. Was not the standard introduction given for decades welcoming the president.

Good point, and it could also be the fact that Pelosi has done nothing but try to destroy Trump and his reputation since the day he was elected. Nasty woman.

Agreed. There is no way Nancy says “you know what, I’m going to try a hand shake” out of the blue. He lured her arse. It would be even cooler if it was his idea to do a shake. Savage AF

In 2019, Trump handed Pence his copy of the speech, then handed Nancy hers. The two said a couple of words, shook hands, the Trump shook hands with Pence.
In 2020, Trump handed Pence his copy of the speech, then handed Nancy hers. No words were spoken, Trump just turned back to the audience.
Last night I heard that Trump and Pelosi have not spoken to each other since October. I don't think Trump wanted anything to do with Nancy, but I also don't think he noticed that she extended her hand.

I wold think that Nancy would be yelling = DOUBLE CROSS had it happened that way - and I would think less of Trump for doing that. Would be a terrible demonstration of treachery - from OUT side === those are DEM tactics.
So I don't yet believe that without proper sourcing.

i honestly think trump turned around before nancy put her had out and he really didn't see it.
