Trump lawyers request: block prosecutors from studying material seized in the raid

Trump's lawyers should be allowed to hand over materials requested. No way the prosecutors should be allowed to look at all attorney client privileged documents, due to leaks alone.
"One of Trump's lawyers, Joanna Hendon, filed papers late Sunday asking a federal judge to block prosecutors from studying material seized in the raid until Cohen and the president have both had a chance to review those materials and argue which are subject to attorney-client privilege.
"Fairness and justice — as well as the appearance of fairness and justice — require that, before they are turned over to the Investigative Team, the seized materials relating to the President must be reviewed by the only person who is truly motivated to ensure that the privilege is properly invoked and applied: the privilege-holder himself, the President," Hendon wrote.
On Friday, lawyers for Cohen appeared in federal court in New York asking that they, not the Department of Justice, be given a first crack at reviewing the seized evidence to see if it was relevant to the investigation or could be forwarded to criminal investigators without jeopardizing attorney-client privilege.
Prosecutors want a different system, in which a special team of Justice Department lawyers not directly involved in the probe would review the material and determine what was off-limits to investigators because of attorney-client privilege.
Hendon proposed yet another level of protections, in which Cohen's lawyers, after finishing their initial review, then be required to "identify to the president all seized materials that relate to him in any way and provide a copy of those materials to him and his counsel.""

What criminals and what criminal charges? What has Trump been charged with?
Muller has been investigating for months and has nothing. So what does he do? End the investigation and admit defeat? Hell no, lets raid Trump's lawyers office and see if we can find a crime!

What materials could an entirely innocent man be so desperate to not have reviewed by prosecutors? Trump has claimed numerous times that he did not have an affair and that he had no knowledge of any payment.

Says the man that celebrates his belief in a god that demands his worship and convicts his subjects of thought crime. That is the very meaning of true authoritarianism and you sing about it on Sundays.
They got a warrant and you are no more privy to the investigation than I am, but the one big difference we share on this and most topics is that I don't presuppose Trump is an honest man with any real level of integrity and you seem to be prancing around in a fantasy world where you treat your dear leader's flaws as attributes.

I don't pretend to know If Trump is innocent of crimes, I have no way of knowing this. I'm saying two things; one, the Feds could find dirt on almost anyone they want if given ample time, unlimited resources and access to a person's personal and possibly privileged information.
Two, I'm saying Muller was charged with finding out if there was any collusion between Trump and Russia and he's found nothing. And to save himself from embarrassment, he is now a man in search of a crime.
