"President Trump’s eldest son on Wednesday posted a doctored version of Nike’s new ad that featured his father in place of former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

The caption, which is the same as the one on the original Kaepernick ad, reads: “Believe in something. Even if it means sacrificing everything.”

“There, fixed it for you,” Trump Jr. wrote, using the hashtag for Trump's campaign slogan, “#maga.”

For starters, he was loved by everyone, Republicans and Democrats alike. The moment he announced he was running for president as a Republican, the Democrats proclaimed him as the spawn of Hitler.

He would have been far better off, financially, had he not decided to run for the presidency. This is an obvious fact that should not need expressing.

He was a laughingstock ... a buffoon ... the butt of latenight jokes on every program on every network.

This is precisely the reason that no one initially took his campaign seriously. It was perceived as just another cheap Trump publicity stunt..

Why am I not surprised that a Trumpette cannot perform a task as simple as posting an internet image?

I chuckle now when I hear rap songs from the mid-2000s praising Trump.

But of course, that all changed when he ran as a Republican.
