Trump hasnt done anything to protect our guns

He says hes pro the second amendment but what has he done to secure our rights? We need to do something now before the democrats get back in power.
1. Start by making an executive order no confiscating of any kind without a due process or a criminal act.
2. Any person without a felony can buy and own any fire arm they want including machine guns.
3. No warrantless back ground checks. If they want to do a back ground check it must be from a judge.

He has a nasty habit of keeping gun control in the spotlight whenever some spook or crazy loner decides to go shoot up a school or a Wal-Mart or whatever. Most Republicans, even the cucked establishment phonies, have enough sense to quit talking about stupid shite like banning bump stocks or enhancing background checks when the pearl-clutching slampigs are having their weekly temper tantrum and let the news cycle churn on. Trump finds a way to keep shootings in the news for weeks because he keeps giving lip service to gun control that he doesn't have to give.
I say all this as a Trump guy who will be happily voting him in again, but I'm fully convinced he is a classic New York City guy on this issue. He doesn't "get it" the way politicians from outside the coasts do.

Lead the effort to ignore them. Our system where some moron in a robe can overturn the will of the people is NOT of the constitution.
He could once and for all put the judiciary, the KRITARCHY, back in the box. It’s high time the executive leads the effort to straight up ignore unconstitutional judicial rulings. He has 65+ MILLION people at his disposal. Mostly in the heartland where real power is held.

Disagree. Gun control comes into the spotlight at those times automatically, a lot of extreme gun control talk. I think he does a good job of managing it.

If judges keep issuing injunctions on executive orders, keep fricking issuing them. It takes less time to issue an order than it does to enjoin it, and the injunctions are blatantly unconstitutional and won't stand up to proper judicial review anyway. We've seen this time and again. Just issue the shite again.

I disagree. If they are a non violent felon and have served their time, they should be able to protect themselves. If they can vote, they can own a firearm.

You think that every background check should require a court order?
What is your argument for why a law cannot require a gun purchaser to submit to a background check?

I'm not saying it doesn't come up at all, but when you say shite like "Go for the guns first, due process second," when you sign a bump stock ban into law and when you keep paying lip service to stronger background checks, that encourages the left to keep talking about it, when even some cuck like Jeb Bush or Mitt Romney would have just given some "thoughts and prayers" tier hand wave and gone about real business and let it die out in a week. Trump gives them hope that something will be done, and I wouldn't mind it if he hadn't actually signed a bump stock ban into law, but stuff like this makes me think he doesn't always have a handle on how he steers the narrative. We know he's damn good at it so how come gun control lingers in the discussion when he's so good at pushing the narrative where he wants it, y'know?
