I think she and Schumer realize it, they just cant pull the party back towards center, and if they try, the liberals will take her speaker role from her, and she cares far more about the power than she does the country or where its headed.
But you are right, in the end the house will flip back to GOP and she will lose the speaker anyway, but at least she keeps it for a couple of years.

I appreciate Trump's transparency. He puts it all out there for us to see. No back door, closed door, under the table bullshite like Obama did, ACA and the big pot of money he gave to Iran come to mind.
