Trump finally destroys the WTO

1 globalist organization down... many more to go
Over the past two years, the U.S. has refused to consider any nominees to fill vacancies on the panel, which has been whittled down to just three members -- the minimum required to sign off on rulings. (Because all WTO decisions are made by consensus, the Trump administration’s refusal to consider nominations acts as an effective veto on filling seats.) The terms of two of those members end at 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 10, after which no new appeals can be reviewed.

WTO members could still bring disputes to the trade body and receive an initial ruling, but any party to a dispute could appeal that ruling into legal limbo -- which effectively provides the loser with a veto.

God I love this man. WTO, UN, NATO, OAS, IMF, time leave them all.

I work in the steel industry. There are many Steel industry guys who have stood behind Trump since day one. His policies and declarations on saving American Steel completely negated anything he said or did. I sat in meetings and heard men who I consider good people declare "Trump can say whatever he wants as long as he champions our industry." The problem is nothing has happened. They still stand behind the guy even though things are just as bad, if not exceedingly dire in context of the lasting effect.
The United States is extremely mineral dependent on the rest of the world. This is a fact that will never change. We do not have large deposits of Silicon, Manganese, Chromium, or the varying minerals processed to produce Molybdenum, Nickel, etc. Without raw-commodities imports the United States Steel industry would never sustain itself. Like recyclables, the life span of scrap is finite and must be doctored to produce steel that meets ASTM standards.
Among the many nations we source materials from are China, Russia, Brazil, Germany, South Africa, Indonesia, Albania, and Turkey - several of those Trump has harmed our diplomacy with and commodities are increasing in price. For rolling mills in the United States, it is still cheaper to import foreign slab. Yet, Trumpers still think he's doing something to save industry. He champions movements, but doesn't deliver.

You're a fricking moron. This took all of about 2 minutes to research and disprove.
US Steel Production:
Keep wishing for the economy to be bad just for the sake of party-first politics, you short-sighted idiot.

This is another example of what happens when:
A) You have no knowledge on the subject you're commenting on.
B) You rely on media talking points. Or in this case, the comment section of the media talking points.
