I am a big Trump supporter and generally believe what he tells us. However, I do not trust him regarding the shot.

The left is trying too hard to make sure everyone gets the shot, even those that already have antibodies.

I noticed the crowd was not behind him when he was supporting the shot as well. Something smells fishy.

Trump and DeSantis both endorse the jab. I don’t care. I’m staying away.

Why wouldn't he? He was the main reason there is a vaccine so quickly. He has always endorsed it. This is not new.

ETA.

The big difference is that Trump is not going to force you to get it. That is up to you.

If you don't want the shot, then don't get it. But it's obnoxious to prance around and brag about your personal decision. Furthermore, the prancing is used against you in the zeitgeist.

Yes.. Plenty of Trump supporters are taking a step back right now and feeling that something is off with that message.... He left me feeling uneasy after the rally for sure.

He did, and he endorsed it being voluntary.

He has been endorsing it for quite a while but he also understood that people should have the right to choose if they want it.

"I would recommend it, and I would recommend it to a lot of people that don't want to get it," Trump told Fox News in a 20-minute telephone interview Tuesday.

Trump noted "a lot of those people" who don't want the vaccine "voted for me, frankly. But ... again, we have our freedoms, and we have to live by that, and I agree with that also."

Why? This isn't a new message from Trump. He's been for vaccination all along.

He also quickly replied that everyone had the choice to make on their own, which was good.

I am completely fine with anyone wanting to get the jab. However, I am not fine with anyone trying to force me to make this decision for me.

do whatever tf you want. Just dont try to force people to take it. Trump is saying pretty much exactly what most vax-hesitant folks are saying.

dont let libs frame this as the vaccinated versus a bunch of lunatic anti-vaxxers. Thats not what this debate is about.

The shot makes sense for almost everyone over 50 and everyone over 30 BMI

Endorsing the shot is not that big a deal.

The govt punishing folks who dont get it is a big deal

I think he actually believes it and takes pride in bypassing normal government red tape to accomplish a goal. But getting the shot is his opinion, never was his mandate. I hear he gets the blame for caving to big pharma. Maybe I’m a Trump homer, but the man, and any president, has to trust people around him, no one person is an expert in everything, his expertise is getting shite done, the fault lies in the excessive corruption in the swamp and the years of electing these conmen. Republicans for JBE comes to mind.

Your decision to take the shot or not should have nothing to do with trump or Biden.

He ENDORSES it. He doesn't want to MANDATE it.
