I just find it funny that after 8 years of “recovery”, they are having to admit Trump’s doing better in one year in such a backhanded way.
The re-election campaign in 2020 will be fun as they try to explain how the Trump economy is doing so well that we can now focus on SJW bullshite again.

Are you kidding? I promise you after the midterms, it will be endless, breathless hysteria. News outlets will rediscover the homeless, poor people that the Trump economy left behind, and the impending crash of the economy.
The latter will be especially glaring. They will talk about the impending slowing of the economy, not because it's happening or about to happen, but more as a self-fulfilling prophecy. Whenever a Republican is in office, the economy is NEVER as good as it seems in the eyes of the news media.
