January 21, "citizens" should not worry, but government should take it seriously.

Not sure how this is a "burn".

He’s not just an aggregator of advice that is given to him. He has his own brain too—that’s why we elect (or should elect) one candidate over another. I like Trump but I would never let him or any other politician use the advice they were or were not given as a dodge.

So he should not listen to the professionals who spend their entire lives working in this? He is damned if he does and damned if he dont with you people.

Truman said “the buck stops here”. Presidents are human and therefore not perfect, but we pick the one we think can best cut the wheat from the chaff. Listen to experts yes, but don’t tie your hands and limit yourself when the professional advice appears dubious.

Pelosi and dems were telling everyone to go the China Town and mingle. Show me a video of them warning people in January!

Orange Man gonna cruise to re-election if these morons try another impeachment right now. That plus their insistence on running brain-dead Biden is starting to make me believe they're tanking on purpose.

It was a comment on the OP’s premise—that Trump could only act on the advice that was given. That is a dodge.

Please show me a video or quote of them warning anyone in February? In the second week of March, people were going to basketball and spring training games. If you would have told people to stay at home as late as the first week in March you would have got zero cooperation. People would have said WTF are you freaking out about.

If all the President is capable of is to follow or dispense the advice of professionals, then why do we need Trump? Any old doofus like Biden might as well be President.

It’s almost as if there’s a bit more nuance to it than what you’re describing.
