Amazing article in the American Spectator dropped at midnight. We are going to rake bigly in November.

quote:

These desultory voters constitute more than 40 percent of the electorate, according to a new Knight Foundation poll. Brad Parscale, Trump’s 2020 campaign manager, is deploying a small army of volunteers at each of the president’s rallies to identify attendees who may belong to this immense reservoir of potential supporters and convert them into 2020 Republican voters who will show up and cast ballots on Election Day.

After each Trump rally, Parscale posts the percentage of attendees who didn’t vote in 2016. After last Friday’s Las Vegas event, for example, he tweeted that 32 percent of the eligible voters who came to see Trump had not voted in the last presidential election. Subsequent to the Colorado Springs rally held the day before, Parscale tweeted that 19 percent of the attendees neglected to vote in 2016.

Following Wednesday’s Phoenix rally, he tweeted that 26 percent of the eligible voters in attendance skipped the last election. The campaign isn’t merely keeping score and compiling lists for use at some later date. They are reaching out to these disengaged voters then and there, as illustrated by this recent AP report:

The Middle-American Radicals have been stirred.

ETA: If you google this term, you'll find a lot of demeaning and malignant articles that use it to describe Trump's base. I'm using it in a very friendly and accepting manner.

I worry about that; they are low-turnout for a reason. You just can’t count on them... for anything.

That reason being is they don't feel like most candidates/the established parties represent their interests or concerns.

If someone appeals to them, they will vote. The reason we have the OMB in office is because he tapped in to a previously unaligned/disaffected group of voters in addition to the typical Republican bloc.

ETA: In a certain sense, this is where Sanders is drawing his support, too.

Showing up and getting in. A much larger effort than it takes to vote.

I hope we are pulling a page from the D playbook and carrying blank early voting/mail in ballots to these people.

If you have been to a Trump rally. You know it's an ordeal to get in to see him. Voting is a breeze compared to attending the rally. You literally have to stand in line for hours.

The fact people are willing to through the ordeal in order to see President Trump. Speaks volumes.

How is this possible? When you think of the wait to get in with no guarantees that you make it in at all, how are they identifying that many people who didn’t vote in 2016?

I work with a white guy in his 60s that in MAGA AF and a veteran.

He has never voted in his life and says he never will.

I'm sure there are millions of similar people and finding them is certainly a worthwhile effort.

Don't waste time persuading people just find your people, register them and get them to the polls.

This is basically the Democrat strategy for felons, illegals and illiterates.

There was a survey which asked your views on various topics and whether or not you agreed with Trump (this of course led into a donation request), but I don't recall being asked if I voted in the 2016 election when I requested my ticket for Friday.

One would think that a man with an IQ of 188 would have a better sense of wit than to make such a trite and boring joke.
