Good Trump is giving great speeches and having policies that put America first instead of global needs at the expensive of American lives/Jobs/expense. Bad Trump is alienating/pissing off/making enemies of folks on the political right/center that would be needed to get the "Reagen" Democrats back to the R side of the ballet to fix this mess.
He is wonderful at having great/innovative ideas but is horrible at building alignment and leading. Ideally he would be a consultant, not an executive for government. Or even the VP candidate for the DeSantis presidential run, but ego would never let that happen.

This is to boost "Truth Social" in the face of Twitter/Musk buyout. I think he wants Twitter to be status quo to boost Truth Social. Especially as Musk has taken some jabs at DJT recently, DJT is using this opportunity to get pro-Trump Twitter users to come to Truth Social.
I can't blame him for using this opportunity to promote Truth Social but he could be a little more diplomatic because Musk and Trump want the same thing as far as these platforms being real free speech venues.
But if Musk takes a jab DJT, you know DJT will jab back.

All of this. It pisses off a lot of us that like him but can see his flaws of scorched earth. The guy bent over backwards for Kim Kardashian and then attacks a guy that is literally helping destroy his direct competition and enemy (twitter).
There is zero to gain and many of us see it. Many times in the past you could pull the “4d chess’ shite. This is pure dumbassery.

If this is the case then frick him. He needs to live out his life in business and leave politics. Yes I know he was about his brand and businesses even when he was president but for frick sake we need someone that’s calculated to attack correct targets.

I think Elon was subtly trolling Trump’s tendency to wear his ties about 6 inches too long.

Musk said Trump needed to ride off into the sunset and not run in 2024 so Trump has a bruised ego and has to publicly flog someone who he thinks criticized him. I don't see it as useful here.

Simply takes the focus off the horrible leftist Dems, which I’m sure they love and welcome.
I don’t think one needs to be a W Bush and take kicks to the head 100% of the time with nary a peep but I also don’t think it’s useful to empty your bunker busters every time someone says something negative about you. Pick your battles.
As my own posting history would show, I love GOB but I’m not seeing any purpose to this other than steering attention from where it should be - the disastrous Dems.
