Accepting the lifestyle is against God's will, so as a Christian that's not allowed.
Acceptance has gotten us to wear we are now. A place where gay to straight convertion therapy is illegal, but straight to gay convention therapy is highly encouraged, a d even promoted to our children.

Why do people who prefer other than normal sex need their own hotline?
Maybe we need to have options by color of skin too?

That’s already been answered. Because they are at a much much greater risk for mental illness and suicide. Just like veterans who have their own option when they call the suicide hotline. Both have unique experiences and one certainly has unique ideologies, which puts them at a much greater risk. I think the better question would be, why not offer specialized help?

The research is clear on hetero and homosexuality. It’s mostly genetic. It also occurs in the animal world, including higher order primates.
There is no straight to gay therapy.

They have been searching for it and no matter how much p hacking they do they can't find a genetic basis.
