This just makes the most sense from a concervative point of view. Pence will see through anything trump wants done.
Pence is only 59. He could finish two terms and still be in his early 70s.

I have two reservations with pence. First the murmurs and rumors he’s a deep state plant. After our last people’s president (RR) VP taking the mantle and proving to be a grade A scumbag traitor, I’m skeptical of Pence. In a similar vein, I’m not a fan of “continuing the momentum.” I want new momentum, a guy who stands on his own. I don’t like assistant coaches taking over for the legendary head coach, and I don’t want trumps backup getting the job by default.
