Let me get this straight, to you taking away a right mentioned in the Bill of Rights, curing cancer, improving the aerospace field, swimming with great white sharks and enforcing current law are all the same?

This is why we can't have nice things.

Nobody needs a truck. Business can just buy 50 cars to haul their freight.

You think I was serious? You clearly don't understand the OP's argument and how my response relates to it.

This is why we can't have nice things.

Prevent crime, and stop criminals from killing others unmolested?

Some of those living things that guns kill is food that feeds myself, my family and others.

This is ignorant. My guns have only broken sporting clays.

You obviously didn't consider the differences in those things or else you wouldn't have mentioned them.

Since I'm so dense why don't you explain to me what point you made with that reply and how you arrived there? Come on, you guys love to insinuate the board is simply too stupid for your level of discourse. Humor me.

Ever witnessed, firsthand, a police officer or soldier stand down a hostile aggressor at gun point? I have. Both. No shots fired. Lives otherwise, statistically, would have been lost. So, guns save lives too, No?

Guns are also therapeutic. When life's daily stresses get to me too much, I go put rounds down range. For some of us, it is Zen. I own 13 registered firearms and not a single one has killed anything other than empty soda cans, clay pigeons and paper silhouette targets.

Why are they registered?

You do realize that not all homicides are murder, right?

You liberals act as if the fact that a firearm has the ability to kill someone that it is a bad thing. Self defense, use in policing society, and defense of country are all legal instances of why the firearm was created.

Relative term. Oklahoma State law. They know how many firearms I have undergone a background check to purchase, although they do not know what the firearms are. Only that I lawfully purchased them.

And, I said that I own 13 registered firearms. I never specifically stated the total number of firearms in my safe

Do you guys have to take every terrorist act into a false argument in a shill attempt to nullify the fact that we have multiple gun massacres a year right here at home?

Yeah. Thank goodness no one is doing the same trying to lobby for more gun laws.

You're also more likely to get male breast cancer or be in a plane crash than be killed by an illegal alien in the USA. So is Trump's wall necessary? I guess not, based on your logic.

Murder is not the only reason people are opposed to illegal aliens.

So you believe that truth is a binary construction between two political parties? What about common sense?

School shootings make for great copy, but are rare. More people die from male breast cancer or plane crashes every year than by mass shooting.
