I hear this bandied about by leftist twits with assumptive authority.
So then why do governments use tax payer funds to entice the wealthy producers into bringing their factories, IT hubs and sports stadiums into their cities and states?

Well, trickle up means the rich just gets all your money, so.......I’d much rather have trickle down, where at least there’s a chance.......

Reagan was wildly popular outside the media and pundits for this economic policy. Reagan advisors say Trump was better than Reagan. Do the math. Left is scared shitless of this policy because a conservative policy works. It’s why they scream racism as a diversion tactic.

Trickle up cannot work as there is literally zero money at the bottom without government giving it out , and government can only get from the rich . So if the poor has nothing to trickle up then the middle and upper end have nothing either ( bingo ) and government has nothing to take ( steal ) . I’ve yet to see rain leave the ground to help the clouds out .

They've always mischaracterized the theory (including some proponents).
