He was on The Five a couple of days last week and I thought had some pretty wise advice for Trump going into the convention. Let others sing your praises for what happened with the economy, jobs, wall, China and He (Trump) stick with his plan going forward to bring everything back. But yeah, I got tired of his Mr Tough Guy as a Rep but had nothing to show for it. Paul Ryan probably told him to sit down and shut up.

Trump needs to ASAP go to the FBI office and remove Wray, preferably during the RNC and replace him with Gowdy, who should be made to be the FBI director for the next 20 or 30 years as penance for his big mouth, his ineffectual tenure as a congressman and his ceaseless coiffing

Trey has never been afraid to talk the talk and he was a damn strong prosecutor, but unfortunately he never found it in him to walk the walk in politics.
If he had equal bite to go with his bark, he could have really been a force for good in politics.
