Bill Maher and his rich leftist friends would be completely unaffected by a short term recession, average American be damned. He got his.

Literally blaming this on trump is them celebrating. Are you that dense?
I don't see the necessary connection. Blaming something on someone is not the same as "celebrating" it.

Rooting for China, Antifa, anti-Semites, anthem kneelers and against the stock market. My God they are sickening.

What exactly has Trump done that they believe is to blame?

All kinds of stuff, but that's irrelevant. If they think the trade war, e.g., has pushed us towards recession, then they are blaming him for it. That simply is not the same as "celebrating" a recession.

You are either obtuse or willfully ignorant if you think these same people aren't happy about this considering the first thing they did when the market had a bad day is blame the president enough to get a hash tag on the internet trending. That level of Trump Derangement Syndrome is embarrassing.

Blaming the opposite party for any and all that is wrong (perhaps particularly economic matters) is the most mundane and ubiquitous bit of political speech I can imagine. Being offended by it is even harder to imagine.

No one is offended. I think wishing for economic hardship because you don't like the president is an embarrassment and that type of person should be publicly mocked.

And the three down votes of the OP are complete and utter losers that hate America if they are so unhinged they would rather their fellow Americans suffer, lose work and their retirement savings just because they have neurons firing off in the wrong direction over Trump... LOSERS ALL OF YOU.

I didn't see you provide any quotes or links supporting this repeated assertion - much less from anyone of note.

Bill Maher has been consistently and openly wishcasting for a recession only because he said it will hurt Trump. I would say he's prominent.

I do agree that hoping for a recession to get at DT is pretty fricked up. But, if you think things are hunky Dory, you’re only lying to yourself.

Ummmm, you are the one in the minority dude

Nearly every single survey done in last year or so says Americans are optimistic and positive about economy. And the data backs it up

Historically low unemployment

Rising wages

Relatively low inflation

Record amount of job openings

Unemployment at historical lows and consumer sentiment is still high.

Is he on Twitter posting with the #TrumpRecession hashtag? Also, why not just make a thread about Maher? Why make up stuff about a bunch of nobodies?

Yep. Also, record stimulus, near-record deficits, and record debt.

You are in another thread blasting people about hypocrisy yet you are using the debt NOW to bash Trump.
