I'm going to pin this as "never attribute to malice what can be attributed to incompetence".
I wouldn't expect a cheap store brand feed to be best for raising animals you're trying to raise for food. Buy a better feed.

Go to your local Co-Op, they'll have some good stuff.
Chickens are impressive, we let ours out every day between 10-11 AM. They free range all day, eating anything/everything they can find, and they return to the coop at dark, all by themselves.
Chickens are smart, they know where home is, and will return to the coop, on their own, every evening at sunset. All we have to do is close the gate, and keep them supplied with water, and a small amount of feed that they'll eat on before we let them out mid morning.

“Producer’s Pride” chicken feed is made by Purina, not Tractor Supply.
So if GP wanted to tie a supposed reconstitution of “Producer’s Pride” chicken feed to the WEF, Purina should be the target.
