Erey body wants a piece of the pie!!
Update: FBI now involved. HPD and HFD have jurisdiction of the event along with Harris county. People were using bolt cutters to access closed parking lots and crawling under fences.
Seems entering areas illegally is learned from the border example.

Can we just identify as someone who was there and was injured and get in on it?

I wish I got paid for every stupid arse thing I ever done.

I wonder if they’ll surpass the number of lawsuits created by the Texas Cyclone over all those years?

Since “climate anxiety” is a diagnosable disorder, I don’t see why not

8 people died, 30 were hospitalized (10 or so still there), and another 300 needing treatment at the concert. That is a lot of valid lawsuits.

Not sure if it’s known or has been posted, but one of the cops there (per our Mayor) was pricked in the neck with something.
They revived him with Narcan supposedly

This sounds an awful lot like the infamous crowd crush at Hillsborough in the 80s.
That one ended up being chalked up to bad crowd control by the people in charge.
In this case, though, the stories of people cutting fences and sneaking in may end up taking blame off the organizers.

Articles mentioned a “drug-spiking incident” but didn’t go into detail.

Of those people that were hurt or injured, how many had a legitimate ticket I wonder. If you rushed the gate and later got hurt or died, I don’t see where the organizers or the venue owe you a dime.

I read that. Also, a large number of people passing out was due to drug use.

I’m going to sound like an a-hole, but one of the people who died was a guy who was 498lbs.
That’s a big dude.
Saw a post on FB where they were tying to identify him using a picture of him on the table in the morgue.

Not near enough money to pay what the lawyers will want.

I hope it goes to 3000.
There’s value in lawsuits. Like these.

I read an article today where a 9 year-old was there and is now in a medically-induced coma. His grandfather was quoted in the article.
Who the frick brings a 9 year-old to a rap concert? A lot of bad decisions to go around in this one.

My brother (also in Htown) showed me a video of this overweight passed out gal being passed over a railing from the cops to the medics and they freaking dropped her on her head. No muy bueno

Dude had the child on his shoulders and went down in the crowd. Kid hit the pavement! And yes, why are you taking a child to a general admission rap concert?

Imagine paying to go watch a thug with his pants halfway off, curse at people, and drop the N word 1000x in a row.

Most likely it was the China Virus vaccine.
