Tonight Cemented The Fact That Bernie Sanders Will Be The Democratic Nominee

Predictably, the candidates went after Bloomberg....because the red meat was just too easy to not go after. All of the post-debate chatter will be obsessed with Bloomberg being killed. Meanwhile the socialist frontrunner just sat there barely touched.
Sanders will win Nevada, come close to winning SC, and then emerge from Super Tuesday as the winner.
At worst, he will go to the convention with a major plurality of delegates.

They did but they didn’t do anything close to moving the needle or changing the makeup of the race. He needed to be the center of the debate tonight.

I agree with.
Bloomberg's only chance really is to have Biden tank hard on SUper Tuesday AND have Pete, Klobuchar, Biden bow out right after ST. If none of that happens Bernie is the winner going into the convention.
I see warren dropping out and possibly Biden after Super Tuesday. But Pete and Klobuchar are in it for a while which is not going to help Bloomberg.

I loved that quote, but it’s not going to resonate enough to change Bernie’s trajectory
The story coming out of tonight’s debate is how awful Bloomberg performed in his first outing

The DSCC has 2 models: One with Bernie as the nominee and one without.
Without, they are spending money on vulnerable Republicans. With Sanders they are going into automatic defense mode, spending all of their money defending seats.
Basically the DSCC and DCCC are signaling their down-ballot is in trouble with Bernie at the top.

Bloomberg will pump another couple billion dollars in ads out and get to a convention that he will have bought off

I can't name a single Democrat voter that I know who is supporting Bloomberg. All I'm hearing is Bernie, Warren,and sometimes Pete.
