You would argue the inverse if it were the other way around.

So you are telling me Biden knew of all these crimes his underlings were committing and instead of investigating and prosecuting he covered them up and then pardoned them. Hmm, sounds like Biden should be criminally charged for the cover up

I would give them the option
Forfeit all benefits from the US Govt including including retirement, rank and security clearance while falling on the sword for what you’ve done
Or
We prosecute and you go to jail because it will be proven.

They did not challenge it because Ford could do it. The only way that a pardon or clemency is not applicable is in the case of civil suits, or for those people that are impeached. You can challenge it, but it would be a fool's errand.

Biden didn’t pardon himself, Crooked Hillary, or Black Jesus. He just created a bunch of witnesses with no fifth amendment protections.
Other stuff can happen regardless of criminal prosecutions. Fauci and other assholes in congressional hearing perjury traps. The pardons can’t possibly cover lies these criminals haven’t told yet.
Removal from Congress / Congressional committees (eg Schiff). Revocation of security clearances. Civil lawsuits. Revocation of federal retirement. Terminations. Revocation of professional licenses. Impeachment of judges. State prosecutions where possible.
Lots of things can and should happen, but moving on like nothing ever happened is not one of the things that can or should happen. Or every President going forward can run a crime syndicate and then burn the evidence on his way out.

You may be right. But, like the birthright citizenship debate, plenty of constitutional scholars disagree.

Very few disagree who are serious scholars. In this case, a person who accepts a pardon dies not lose 5th Amendment protections. The Supreme Court was very clear about that

Keep their pardon.. they’ve lost their 5th amendment rights. Force them to testify . Them get their asses for perjury. Parsons don’t cover future crimes !!

I got an offer, the leftie lawyers will somehow find this as possible in the Constitution, but not the end of birth right citizenship. I say we split it, and we take BRC.

The idea of blanket pre emptive pardons for everything possible for a decade is not legally sound.
Pardons are only for specific things, at specific times and specific charges.

And because they are guilty of "something" all get any kind of of clearance revoked. Liz Cheney, Milley, and acting congressman with no clearance is a bitch.
Milley though is fricked still if I understand it. I don't believe this doesn't cover punishment under military tribunal. But who knows maybe there is something in the pardon Biden is trying.

Horrible precedent.
The Dims will exploit it.

I do think there's a good argument to be made that blanket pardons might not be constitutional. This seems like something that needs to be litigated.
