Today on Rush: Caller Says Cows Don't Fart

The guy was supposedly calling in from a yacht off the Greek Isles, which makes this all more laughable.
He tells Rush that cows can't fart and Rush believes him. I think the caller was thinking of vomiting, that cows cannot vomit.
I had to stop listening to the show, did anyone ever call to correct it or do millions of people now think that cows don't fart???

Yes, they were talking about a comment made by Bill Nye suggesting that farmers should be taxed for cow farts.

I have seen cows fart and have projectile diarrhea- farts = Methane gas which tree huggers say is affecting global warming

He said they emit gas but not just by itself, only when they are dumping. He was on yatch and likely drunk.

Actually the biggest destructive force cows have is we have to destroy tons of forests to make grazing land for all the cattle and their consumption of water.
It takes 900 gallons of water to make 1 McDonald's Quarter-Pounder.
Not to mention all the feed and grain that could go to feeding humans...thousands and thousands of grain for one Cow.

No, actually he said that he was stunned, this changes everything and that he appreciated the info. I couldn't listen after that. That is why I am asking if anyone ever corrected him or if he looked it up.

methane from herd animals is not a non-significant issue because methane is 4 times as powerful of a greenhouse gas that carbon dioxide is.
if the Earth warms enough to let hydrated methane to come out of permafrost and sea basins, well lets just say that would be a game changer.
