re: Time to take the Cuffs off Ukraine

The Russian capacity for long term suffering in order to play the long game is second to none. There is nothing in that country’s history that suggests it is not willing to sacrifice millions of its own for military or political reasons. I suggest to you that “deep strikes” do nothing more than motivate or justify the Russian mind as to why NATO shouldn’t be on its doorstep. This war is about one thing —western alliances on its door step. The Russian mind contains the historical DNA of the military conflicts from 1800-1945. The period of 1945 through 2020 was by far the most peaceful for the Russian in relative terms as it did not suffer civilian or military losses due to invasion from the west during that stretch. The Russian mind believes that this did not occur bc western alliances were not allowed on its doorstep during this period. Hence the reason for its motivation in the current conflict. No path to peace exists until one understands this concept. So unless you are will to sacrifice millions for every Russian milllion in a conventional war , or initiate a global nuclear war , take NATO off the table and begin negotiations from there.

Yeah don't think that would work out the way you think it would.

Trump needs to use this as a talking point to remove us from NATO. Just like China opened the door to exit WHO, use this to GTFO of NATO.

Let Europe deal with shitbag Eastern Europeans.

In other words, based on the Kennedy doctrine, an attack on Russia from Ukraine using another country's weapons would be considered an attack on Russia by that country, and justify retaliation accordingly.

Do you think the Russians are throwing everything they have at Ukraine right now? Do you lack the common sense to realize that Ukraine escalating strikes will result in Russia escalating its bombardment of Ukraine?

Ukraine isn't going to suddenly turn the tide of the war in their favor with some magic "Victory" weapons. Some of you are extremely delusional regarding Ukraine's capabilities.

Europe has scrimped on their own defense for way too long. It's not like anyone just discovered that Russia is a threat, but Europe has continued to rely heavily on the US. Meanwhile the US has been digging a debt hole that was inevitably going to limit our ability to police the world.

If Europe wants to deter Putin, then quit attacking Russia and build your damn deterrence on the eastern borders of NATO. Or bomb Russia on your own without dragging the US into it.
