Thousands in line braving heat before President Trump's Greenville NC rally

GREENVILLE, NC (WITN) - Thousands of people are lined up outside of Minges Coliseum ahead of President Trump's 2020 campaign rally tonight.
The president is expected to speak tonight at 7 p.m., but people have already started braving the heat in order to get a prime spot inside of the arena once the event starts.
ECU police Captain Chris Sutton says they are still expecting the arena to be at full capacity.
A heat advisory will be in effect until 7 p.m. so it is advised to drink plenty of water, wear light clothing and to use plenty of sunblock if you're planning to wait in line.
By 2:00 p.m., ten people in line had been treated for the heat by paramedics. One of those was sent to the hospital, according to officials.
Minges seats about 8,000 people and those working the event say they expect every spot to be filled and they may have to turn people away at the door.
Doors will open at 4 p.m. for ticket holders.

I don't care what political stripe (R/D) or politician (Trump/Obama); people lining up for rallies for politicians is weird.

What I can't stand is how hot is is at night. AC runs straight and never had to turn on the heat last couple a winters.
