What would you think about people dodging a hypothetical draft for a Ukraine war?

I’d support anyone not joining the military if there were a draft necessary to get further involved in Ukraine. We shouldn’t be involved now. If the aholes in DC think it’s so important to support zelensky then let them go.

They were the smart ones. You'd have figured the OT war brigade would all be over there fighting right now given that Zelensky is their Churchill. But they, like the rest of the Beltway establishment, expect the white working class baws in flyover country (whom they despise) to fight their wars for them.

Compulsory participation of citizens in a war fought on behalf of another country should be a war crime.

I have a nephew who is draft age.

Ain't no f*cking way in the world I would ever let him fight in this f*cking sh!t show so this f*cking dementia-riddled piece of f*cking FILTH and his family/comrades in the U.S. government can keep using the Ukraine as their own personal f*cking ATMs.

He and I would be on the first f*cking plane to some country in Central or South America where we'll just retire to a beach side bungalow.

Congress never declared war on Vietnam. The draft should not have been used. It was for WAR time.

I had older cousins that were draft dodgers during the Vietnam War. The problem I have with them, which I have discussed with them, is their treatment of the guys went to Vietnam when they returned.

It's one thing to be a conscientious objector, it is a whole other thing to criticize those go and fight.

At this point I'd support anyone dodging for any war, this country won't be fighting any of merit ever again

i would never vote for a congressman again who voted to bring back the draft. after 9-11, there was no need for a draft. everybody was volunteering to join.

Come on all of you beg strong men Uncle Sam needs your helps again. Got himself in a world of pain, way down yonder in Ukraine, so its put down your books and pick up a gun, we're gonna have a whole lot of fun!

And its One Two Three what are we fighting for? Don't ask me cause it's all insane, next stop is Ukraine.

And its Five Six Seven open up the Pearly Gates. There ain't no time to wonder why, Whoopee! we're all gonna die!

My kids and I would be proud draft dodgers if the draft started for the Ukraine-Russian War. Not in a million years would I support this crap.

Same caveat I always have, attack the Homeland? Sure than I am all on board.

American has been invaded by Communists masquerading as Democrats.

Real America does not exist at the moment.

Hopefully it is simply dormant, waiting for the people to help her rise again.

Ukraine v Russia is a War to enrich Politicians in the US and around the globe.

Ukraine is one of the money-laundering hubs of the world.

My kids will NOT fight for the pieces of shite who have over-thrown the US govt, period.

A few years ago, I would have looked down on them…but now I applaud them for avoiding a pointless quagmire where they were only going to be a bullet sponge.

This. Imagine how bad current society is. Then imagine you grew up in the time of Boomers who literally did whatever the government said. There was no internet, etc. to offer a different viewpoint.
