You ever wondered why the Left constantly wants to stifle speech or shut down debate? It’s because they know true debate and honest observations would dismantle their arguments which are based more in emotions than facts.
If the Left was so sure in their positions, they’d welcome debate and use it as an opportunity to make new converts.
Instead, they prefer to shut down all opposition.
Every totalitarian governmental in history stifled free speech.

Absolutely true. I try and engage people with dissenting views in real life. I enjoy the conversation and getting their takes on things. It’s a big world with so many different viewpoints. I really wouldn’t want to live in a world where only my viewpoints or very similar ones existed. It would be boring. I’m very much a live and let live kind of guy. I wish that the Left felt the same way about us.

To make them quit I usually can do one of two things:
Simplify the premise to that of a 5 year old's comprehension
or
Ramp the premise to an absurd level
