The GA 6 election is literally two wolves and a sheep deciding what to have for dinner

One career politician who serves corporate masters and one is a non resident bankrolled by the same corporate masters and big money interests. Both will work to serve the interest of those in high places and the rich and powerful, neither will give a shite about the people.

Regardless of whoever wins, we all lose.

The elites love it though. Once again get to use an election where they get to pit us against each other and further divide us, while they laugh all the way to the bank knowing that its two candidates on the same side of the coin who are only putting off the illusion of being different.

A just America would rise up against both candidates and expect better.

I heard it is the most expensive house election in history based on how much money has already been spent. So funny if the dems lose as they have placed many an egg in this one election basket.

It's definitely a symbolic race at this point. Neither candidate would be good.

This line of reasoning is an easy way to be lazy and avoid developing a real, informed opinion. And it's the reason we ended up with an utter moron like Trump in the White House.

That you already have 5 downvotes shows how warped this country is.

I agree with your assessment. However, you should, at a minimum, be a resident of the district in which you are seeking office. This should be mandatory. That way, at least, the policies that you vote for affect you, and your property a little bit anyway.

It merely shows people are familiar with the OP.

On the issues of monetary policy, foreign policy, state surveillance, civil liberties and mass incarceration, there is virtually zero difference between the two parties.

I'd say Goldennugget is the one who sees the light. The reason we have crooks for politicians is because the majority of Americans keep voting in the same two parties, who each have an incentive to purge our national political discussion of any serious alternative.

I voted 2 weeks ago for Handel, and took a shower immediately afterwards.

And non Trump voters wonder how he won.

If "literally Hitler" beats your candidate, maybe you should reconsider your candidate.

The GA6 election shows how horribly nationalized politics have become.

What's going on their has nothing to do with the people who live in that district.

Both Ossof and Handle are political party hacks.

As someone who lives in the district, I mostly agree.

Handel is a political hack, but Ossoff is a fraud.

I have yet to meet a pro-Ossoff supporter whose support deviated from the simple fact they were anti-Trump. At the same time, I have never meet a pro Handel supporter that wasn't pro Trump.

As someone who has lived in this district for over 30 years, I can't see it going blue (see: Trump 2016), but if it does, the transplantation of Atlanta by the damn Yankees is complete.

My amateur local opinion is Handel wins by at least 5%. I will drunken bump this thread when appropriate.

I'd say his statement is spot on about the unlikeability of each candidate, regardless of their religious affiliation. I also strongly agree with Pressurized's statement about the nationalization of American congressional elections in general. It makes it far more difficult to elect a strong willed and independent minded candidate.

I don't get why they both have spent so much money on this election. No matter who wins it doesn't change the power in congress because Republicans have a huge lead. Other then Democrats will win at all cost even if it means nothing.

What you say has some validity. However, I see a bigger problem with giving a single frickng inch more to the left. Handel is a career politician that is your typical old guard republican. That I can't stand. But I refuse to accept this new wave of liberal soccer moms out here that seek value in their lives by looking for social injustices on Facebook. In my opinion, Handel is the lesser of two evils. I refuse to accept this new wave of someone shoving their damn politics in my face, and that's what libs do. America is about letting everyone have their peace in their home. The minute you try to force your shite on me, I've got a problem.

I wish people would quit repeating this bilge. I believe she held a local level office for three years and a state level office for three years. That's it. That is not a "career politician."
