He is hell bent on not bailing out the shithole Democrat states and cities, and I applaud him for that. But unfortunately many middle to lower class people in this country were praying for this money, and you know this is going to hurt them. I'm not saying they will go vote for Biden, but some will stay home. This took the wind out of many people's sails today.

Or the opposite: they will be more eager to vote Pelosi out of the majority...After all, 2/3 majority in both houses can override a veto and she can't get that in her house.

It's an insurance policy. If the pubs lose both POTUS and senate then the dems will have to use reconciliation for the stimulus.

You can only use reconciliation once per year though.

So if they use it for stimulus they cant use it for another ACA or all the other kooky shite they are promising.

1) The handwringing over NOT agreeing with Pelosi is nauseating

2) You will get a better deal if you are willing to walk out of the car dealership. There is nothing that would stop a deal from happening if it isn't a Nancy lead deal. But, if the deal is bad...you SHOULD walk away from it.

Or they could just end the filibuster which would be their plan at this point. They are pretty much done with any formalities, rules and norms after the impeachment fiasco.

So, CNN and gang are saying he knows he can’t win the election so he’s now just destroying everything to leave Biden with a miserable situation.

I think it shows he is confident in a win and will shove it down Pelosi’s throat starting NOV 4.

What say you?

Why not hold Nancy responsible? Why did she have to pad the bill with another trillion + of unrelated, unnecessary spending. If she were really on the side of the people she would stop playing her political games. I can see who is at fault here and others can see it too.

Adding: Nancy included things in the bill that no one in their right mind would agree to. She didn’t want it to pass so she could blame Trump.

Not so sure I agree that not giving Nancy and the dims billions and a victory lap is a bad thing.

Its a stimulus package we wants and not the bailout the dems are proposing.

I have a sneaking suspicion today's move by the POTUS is a negotiating tactic to get some vulnerable Dems to go to Pelosi (and Schumer) and demand they agree with the Republicans' offer in the bill.
