This really just happened in the Whitmar kidnapping case

We’ve seen a lot of activists judges over the past decade, but the crap this judge in Michigan just pulled is mind blowing. Only a day after Tucker exposed the case and FBI setup.

Twitter

quote:

BREAKING: Federal judge in Whitmer fednapping trial places 25-minute limit on defense attorneys but not on prosecutors. Defense attorneys now arguing with Judge Robert Jonker about his order under Reeves. This was applied to 2 govt witnesses who pleaded guilty. Defense atty Blanchard calls judge's ruling "unconstitutional and unfair," doesn't get the truth to the jury. Blanchard notes govt witnesses are "so foul and done so many bad things" that defense needs lots of time to expose why they took plea deals. Judge: "We don't need to. hear over and over the same thing." Judge sustains his order. Same judge that refused to allow into evidence hundreds of incriminating texts and won't let jury hear about acquittals in April trial. Govt now wants FBI docs detailing misconduct of Steve Robeson, the criminal informant used in the case. Robeson today filed his intention to take the 5th, same as first trial.

Amazing. And we spent what, several weeks for Johnny Depp testimony?

That’s what they want. This delays the process of Justice so that congress can’t get answers. “It’s still an ongoing case”.

Looks like the judge is trying to protect the FBI's reputation.

Unless the defendants are found not guilty.

True, but the judge is suppressing the defense’s case.

Why would I not force a mistrial as the attorney? This is so clearly afoul. frick it. Get the trial canned and force it to be seen by another judge...

Appellant court is going to slap the shite out of this ruling. Seriously, limiting the defense but not the prosecution? May see some high-end legal defense groups get involved now.

This is so blatant that I don’t think the defense has had enough time to properly weigh their options. This judge should be disbarred.
