To up her numbers. Praises to her marketing team, it worked. Her name is everywhere, she'll make millions as a result. As soon as she's out of the spotlight, she'll go back to her typical ways.

Going against the left is career suicide for musicians. Because the left control most of the entertainment Industry.
To get a boost, all she would've had to do was rant about trump. Ranting about trump would've gotten her a lot more blind support.

You're overthinking this. She just fired off a weird tweet, isn't used to getting criticized from the left, and the fallout is what it is. People on both sides are melting down predictably.
It's nice to see someone go against group think, but it's mostly very surface level and this is a slow news cycle. It'll quickly be replaced.

Not a lot of people were talking about her. Now they are. Others don't flock to it because they know they will have less of a chance to make future content if the studios hate them. People like Minaj have made enough to be able to completely produce their own stuff and disseminate it online, which is how everyone buys music now.

If she was retired, I could understand using stunts to squeeze out money from new followers at the risk of pissing off a lot of her current fanbase.
But she isn't retired. She'll release new shite. She'll have future projects that she'll be in. It's illogical that her agent would let her rock the boat and lose a portion of the massive fanbase she already has.. in an attempt to capture a very small fringe element of the population who don't like her music, but will become her fans because of a vaccine situation.
