BTW, why does Ole Miss have a Magazine Innovation Center? Don't we have some Ole Miss posters here?

I don't believe this, I believe the real reason Melania isn't more publicized as the first lady is that the media don't want direct comparisons between her and her predecessor who they spent 8 years trying to convince AMericans was the classiest and most beautiful first lady we had ever seen or would ever see. Michelle literally looks like a drag queen compared to Melania.

Ole Miss actually has a really good journalism school, so I'd imagine the magazine center would roll up under that.
That Samir guy (if I'm thinking of the same guy) is actually pretty respected among the magazine/journalism worlds
Not sure how a Vogue article about what Melanie wore would accomplish what he's saying though

I tend to believe it’s because she actually appears to be a very private person. I don’t think she likes being in the spotlight that comes with being the First Lady, and just wishes to be mom to Barron, who she is highly protective of.

If they’re so good at magazines and journalism, why is “The Oxford American” (a very good Southern literary magazine) now published in Arkansas? Even after they got tons of money from John Grisham to keep it going? I would not place any value whatsoever on anything that guy from The University of Mississippi had to say about magazines.

I read his bio.
He did his PhD st Mizzou—arguably one of the nation’s best journalism schools.
Many professors at OM hold their degrees from OM; at least Dr. Husni knows his trade.
