This is a legitimate crisis and an emergency declaration is appropriate.

Not declaring an emergency because the Dems might do the same thing is a false narrative planted by the Dems. Just because a future Dem Pres. wants to declare an emergency doesn't mean they can.

Without Congressional support and a valid crisis the american public will not tolerate a false emergency declaration for gun control or healthcare for all. Those are policy arguments this is a National security issue. The President should declare an emergency in this case Dem. or Rep. doesn't matter.

We have politicized a national security matter for over 40 years and it is now a crisis in humanitarian costs and in sovereign authority erosion. If our immigration process does not become controlled and processed through legal portals now, then in 5-10 years we will not have a constitutionally protected democratic republic.

The end game here is open borders and in a world where everyone has a cellphone the globalists can mobilize huge numbers to change the population in strategic areas quickly and effectively. Look at the EU and convince me I'm wrong.
