This gov Abbott guy

Watched a replay of his presser today. Seems like he is always one step behind. They have known for at least a month these Haitian caravans were on their way.
So just this past week over 12,000 Haitians were able to cross into Texas over that shallow river and dam. Then finally he sends in reinforcements way AFTER the fact.
Its been the same way with the rest of his Texas border. He knew well in advance Biden opened the borders and over a million illegals were able to cross under his watch and still reinforcements like out of state national guard units came after over million got through.
If you ask me he is worthless and not doing Texas any favors. His press conferences saying he is going to do this and that are getting old. Now one can only conclude nothing will change and still more illegals will come through and more of these after the fact pressers.
Texas needs a major change on how they are handling the border crisis. Seems like Abbott is trying to patch a leaky dam with silly putty because what he has tried so far hasn't stopped the main issue of the horrendous amounts of illegals getting through.

He's probably a RINO and is playing the game to appear like he's a patriot. The "big game talk" is just an act. If he truly wanted to stop, he would at least try.

He’s definitely more often been a stick finger in the wind/lead from behind type.

Sounds great and all but why should Texas taxpayers have to pay for all of this?

Abbott is a rino that is always trying to keep the ‘moderates’ happy in Austin, all the while trying to seem hard core conservative. He ends up pissing both sides off.
