I agree although I question his timely response to things like the border. I wonder what the border would look like if Desantis was the governor of Texas.

You mean ones that let millions of illegal aliens flood across the border into their state without doing a thing about it?

I don't know if we'll ever get to the point where state and federal LEOs are drawn down on each other, but if it happens, it will be in DeSantis' Florida.

He’s not who or what you think he is.

Abbott and Cruz are very much alike: if they could do what they wanted they would be more conservative, but they are compromised by wanting to serve corporate interests and the bushes. Ken Paxton is the ballsy one in Texas.

I think you nailed it here.

At some point these “corporate interests” are going to need to figure out that they are cutting off their noses to spite their faces with much of this stuff.

Global corps are taking away our natl sovereignty. Corps are important, but our natl interests come first.

You know MLB had to be pissed when an ATL-HOU World Series happened. Hopefully it goes the full seven.

No other issue interests me about him. He could have more affect on immigration than anyone in America. I love the abortion stance but meh. We're being turned into a European shithole overnight

That said, I live in Georgia. So I also judge him accordingly

Don't get ahead of yourself OP. Wait to see if he figures out how to stop the hoard of illegals coming in.

I am going to get raked over the coals here but why the hell push the abortion thing?

There was literally nothing the democrats had going for them. People were hating everything they were doing.

Then the idiots had to come out and push something that is going to be found Unconstitutional.

And they gave the democrats something to rally around.

He leans that way, but he has dreams of ramping up the White House too. Unfortunately for him Desantis is pulling him right. He'll win the primaries but his opponents are doing well calling him out.

Ohhhh and I lost all respect for the man the way he sainted that POS fentanyl overdose in MN.

Abbott is dogshit. He’s a big RINO and will only do something conservative, if his challenger Don Huffines is challenging him on it.

Abbott and house speaker Phelan are two peas in a homosexual pod.

I like the abortion stance, too.

But let's get real here. The abortion stuff and other "conservative" issues in which he has prevailed are nothing but fodder for the conservative masses. They are political bread and circuses. They are a feint.

The two biggest winners from unrestrained, illegal mass immigration are corporations and the Democratic Party. They aren't worried about abortions when their current and future ultra cheap labor and voters are illegally entering this country en masse.

This one issue is going to be the one that will be the downfall of America and the American Dream as we know it from a economic and cultural standpoint, and no one in office is doing anything real to stop it. Abbott is being told by the corporations in Texas to do nothing. This is the same for Republicans in Washington. The corporations pull the purse strings. They control the politicians. And while they are controlling the Republicans, Democrats get to run wild in the streets, literally, tearing down and burning our cultural institutions-including most recently Thomas Jefferson.

We are on the Titanic in broad daylight steaming full speed ahead for a clearly visible iceberg while the Establishment parties on the upper decks and we, and our future generations, are stuck in the steerage, doomed to a fate in which we have no choice.

If Florida and Texas were next to each other we would have an awesome start to a wonderful country.
