Most normal sane Americans, (not those on the hard left) see this Kavanaugh sham for what it is.. a political stunt. This could backfire on the democrats and GOP could pick up even more seats in the Senate..
Kavanaugh gets confirmed, RGB retires or dies, and Trump gets to put Barrett in for her replacement. I think liberals would literally be committing suicide if this happened, and others would be stupid enough to take to streets.. Either way this would not end well for them.

Why do you only use the 2016 Presidential election results?
The GOP has majorities in the House, Senate, Governorships, and State Legislatures.

How this could backfire on Republicans is if Kavanaugh is CONFIRMED.
If that happens, the Democrats are going to take both Houses in November, and start an investigation to impeach Kavanaugh.
